Scholarship Applications at Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar Now Open

Strathcona will offer a number of Academic and other scholarships to students either currently enrolled or entering the School in 2018. Applications for academic scholarships for entry into year 3,5,7 and 9 in 2018 are now open.

Scholarships are offered to candidates who meet the required standard as indicated by the results of the examination. The highest percentage offered is 80% of tuition fees. This sometimes translates into a greater number of part scholarships if a large number of students achieve at a high level. The duration of awarded scholarships is for the remaining years through to the completion of the VCE, provided progress and performance are maintained at a high standard.

Please note: Candidates must hold an Australian Birth Certificate, Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident Visa to apply for a scholarship. Evidence of this must be sent with a copy of your daughter’s latest school report and NAPLAN results for the attention of: Mrs Joanne Wilson, Director of Enrolments and Development, Strathcona BGGS, 34 Scott Street, Canterbury, 3126.

Strathcona academic scholarship testing is conducted by Edutest and testing will be held on Saturday, 4 March 2017 from 9am to 12 noon. On-line applications are now available.
