Scholarships at Methodist Ladies’ College Now Open for 2018 Entry

MLC awards a significant number of scholarships each year and may vary the number and amount of scholarships to reflect the quality of applicants and the availability of places. 

Important information on the academic scholarships for 2018 entry is as follows.

Opening date: MONDAY, 7 NOVEMBER 2016

Closing date: 3PM WEDNESDAY, 22 FEBRUARY 2017

Audience: Entry Years 5, 7 and 9
Eligibility:

• Australian citizens or residents
• Currently at MLC or attending another school

Selection Criteria:

• Results of the MLC Scholarship Test
• Results of the most recent School Report
• Evaluation through Interview. Candidates shortlisted for an interview will be contacted by telephone and/or email.

Duration:

• Tenable for two years (Entry Year 5)
• Tenable for six years (Entry Year 7)
• Tenable for four years (Entry Year 9)

Scholarship holders are expected to complete their secondary education at MLC.

Step 1:

• Complete the MLC Scholarship Application Form (entry 2018) and email to admissions@mlc.vic.edu.au

Step 2:

• Register for the MLC Scholarship Test on ACER’s Scholarship Test website located at https://scholarships.acer.edu.au/
• The MLC Scholarship Test will be held on Saturday, 4 March 2017. Details about the Scholarship testing will be sent to registered candidates by ACER at least one week prior to the test.

Step 3:

• Only candidates shortlisted will be contacted by telephone and/or email for an interview.
  A passport photo and the candidate’s latest school report will be required. These should be scanned and emailed to admissions@mlc.vic.edu.au two days before the interview.
