Written applications are sometimes required by schools:
- as part of an application for entry to a school.
- as a requirement for a general excellence scholarship.
- As the first step in requesting a principal’s discretionary place at a Selective High School.
Application assistance is available. It is important that the application is written by the student. The support we give is to review a draft of the student’s letter with the student and a parent. We also make suggestions about how to present the evidence to support their claims of involvement to co-curricula activities, clubs and groups.
